On these page you will find a nice selection of hand tuned opening books by Jeroen Noomen and other authors. Also a large collection of theme based books. All the books are in the ChessPartner .BK format and usable with the all ChessPartner based programs such as ChessPartner, Rebel 12, Deep Sjeng, Chess Tiger etc.

Installation instructions
To save space we have compressed the books with winzip, therefore after downloading the selected book(s) you need to unzip them first. Unzip them to the directory where you have installed ChessPartner. To use a book first make sure you have enabled the use of GUI books ( Extra -> Options - Books ) then File -> Book Maintenance -> Open book to activate the book of choice. Note that you may have to close your other books first.

Another allround book like general.bk, but writable, and a more specific -yet quite broad- repertoire (currently 1.d4! for practical reasons). With the 'variation'  parameter in 'book options' you can set how specific the moves will be. Recommended for strong  play: variation about 20 %, book learning at least 70%, and move priority on. For time being for best performance i do not recommend to set variation above 25 %, until i've done some more testing/improving.
